Reports To Student Computer Center Supervisor What position(s) reports to this position? None Minimum Education/Experience Must be a current OCCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the Fall or Spring semester or enrolled in a minimum of 3 credit hours for the Summer semester. OR Must be a current OCCC student with a federal work study award. AND Must be qualified to tutor in designated tutor subject area by receiving recommendation from a laboratory supervisor or faculty confirming qualification. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must demonstrate positive communication and human relations skills while performing work. Ability to work a flexible schedule Good organizational skills Student oriented and able to tutor Physical Demands/Working Conditions 1.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

This position requires the person to frequently move about the Student Computer Center to assist students and perform the essential functions of the position. This position requires the person to frequently communicate with and listen to students, staff, and faculty to perform the essential functions of the position. Must be able to exchange accurate information in various situations. This position requires the person to frequently remain in a standing and stationary position. This position frequently requires the person to operate a computer, other office equipment and mobile devices to perform the essential functions of the position. This position requires the person to frequently operate equipment that frequently involves repetitive motions of hands and wrists. 3.

VISUAL ACUITY

This position requires the person to judge, observe and assess the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations. 4.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position performs the essential functions in an indoor computer lab or office setting.
