Center Assistant - Bilingual (English/Spanish) Kumon Math and Reading Center of Beaverton - South Beaverton, OR Job Details Part-time $16.30 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Some college Spanish Basic math English Working with students Full Job Description Center Assistant Kumon Learning Center We are looking for a motivated and reliable Center Assistant to join our team! This is a great opportunity for college students or those with a passion for education to gain hands-on experience in a structured learning environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist students (primarily K-8) with Kumon math and reading worksheets Provide encouragement and guidance in a calm, focused classroom setting Help monitor student progress and maintain a productive learning environment Support the center instructor with day-to-day operations during class
SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM 4-5 days per week (flexible within the weekly schedule)
REQUIREMENTS
Must be fluent in Spanish (bilingual English/Spanish required) Prior tutoring, teaching, or childcare experience preferred Patient, dependable, and comfortable working with children Strong math and reading skills preferred
