Min Hourly Rate $15.05 (Standard); $14.05 (Non-Urban); $16.30 (Portland Metro) Max Hourly Rate $21.50 (Standard); $21.00 (Non-Urban); $22.00 (Portland Metro) Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Peer Tutor Development Student Coordinator for the College of Engineering at Oregon State University (OSU). The Peer Tutor Development Coordinator for the Engineering Peer Tutoring Program is responsible for implementing, facilitating, and evolving the peer tutor curriculum. The Peer Tutor Development Coordinator oversees delivery of tutor training, coordinates assessment checkpoints, and leads the tutor team through reflective practice and growth. This position plays a critical role in creating a learning culture for the Peer Tutors that values teamwork, belonging, experimentation, and progress over perfection. This role is ideal for an undergraduate student interested in higher education leadership, educator development, student success, and/or facilitation-based work. Position Duties Key Responsibilities Curriculum Implementation & Facilitation Facilitate and adapt tutor training sessions using the designed curriculum Deliver content in ways that are engaging, responsive, and evolving based on tutor needs Balance adnce to curriculum with flexibility for evolving team dynamics Tutor Team Leadership & Support Serve as the primary coordinator for the peer tutor team Lead team meetings and support individual tutor check-ins Coach tutors through challenges related to confidence, perfectionism, and uncertainty Normalize struggle and growth as part of the learning process Assessment & Development Tracking Schedule and manage instructional and assessment checkpoints throughout the year Coordinate tutor observations, reflections, and feedback cycles Track tutor development and engagement over time Use assessment data to adjust facilitation and support strategies Culture Building & Community Development Foster a team culture rooted in belonging, trust, and psychological safety Encourage collaboration, peer learning, and d accountability Model growth mindset and reflective practice Collaboration & Communication Partner with the Director of Student Success & Scholarships and campus collaborators to support tutor development Support recognition and celebration of tutor growth Communicate tutor needs, trends, and successes to Director of Student Success & Scholarships Supervision & Autonomy s to the Director of Student Success and Scholarships in Engineering Operates with autonomy while participating in regular supervisory check-ins and peer tutor team meetings Minimum Qualifications Full Employment Eligibility Requirements can be found : hr.oregonstate.edu/student-employment-manual/500-employment-eligibility-requirements Must be academically enrolled in a high school,munity college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term• Graduate student officially admitted to

Additional Required Qualifications Current undergraduate Secondary Education students in the College of Education Coursework or experience in academic support programs, education and instructional methods, learning and development, curriculum development, or lesson planning Experience facilitating groups, mentoring, tutoring or supporting student learning Strong interpersonal andanizational skills This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; tfore, the incumbent must successfullyplete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in Youth Programs may have additional Criminal History Checks every 2 years.
