We're hiring experienced SAT and ACT tutors to work one-on-one with students at our tutoring centers in Ambler and Haverford. This is a part-time role with a collaborative and supportive team, real earning potential, and students who are motivated to improve.

What the job looks like You'll meet with students in your own dedicated office at one of our two locations. Because students come to you, you can schedule back-to-back sessions and maximize your hours without wasting time commuting between homes. Hours are on weekday afternoons/evenings and/or weekends. We're looking for tutors who can commit to at least 10 hours per week and maintain consistent availability throughout the school year. This is not a seasonal position. Candidates who are only available in summer or who cannot commit to regular availability from September through June will not be considered. What we offer Starting pay of $50-70 per hour, plus additional performance bonuses IRA match and health insurance (pending eligibility) Paid training and ongoing professional development Your own dedicated office -- no driving to students' homes A professional, organized operation with administrative support so you can focus on teaching Genuine opportunity to make a difference for students Requirements Significant experience tutoring the SAT and/or ACT (at least 1 year) Scored 700+ on each SAT section or 30+ on each ACT section (or demonstrably capable of doing so) Active mastery of algebra and geometry Bachelor's degree or higher Strong communication skills Consistent availability on weekday evenings and/or weekends, at least 10 hours per week, throughout the school year Ability to commute to our Ambler and/or Haverford location Must pass a background check Preferred Degree from a highly selective university Availability on weekends Willingness to tutor 20+ hours per week This position is in-person.
