Aug 27, 2026 Job Description Ringing Rocks Elementary School is currently seeking a part-time Intervention Tutor.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Work cooperatively with the principal, subject supervisors and other staff members to develop and implement research-based reading intervention lessons and activities. Periodically assess students' progress in research based intervention programs. Provide meaningful, appropriate learning experiences for assigned groups of children including differentiated instruction to meet individual needs of children. Maintain a plan book as directed by the principal have daily plans readily available for the use of a substitute in the event of absence. Appropriately, integrate technology into the teaching-learning process. Periodically evaluate children's progress within intervention programs as a basis for planning and reporting to parents. Complete and record students' progress on appropriate records or documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Pennsylvania teaching certificate - preferred. Submission of pre-employment medical examination (Section 148 of the Pennsylvania School Code) Submission of a report of criminal history record from the Pennsylvania State Police (Section 111 of the Pennsylvania School Code) FBI Criminal History Record Submission of a clearance report from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare in accordance with Act 151 of 1994

LOCATION:

Ringing Rocks Elementary School

SALARY:

$26.50 - $27.00 per hour starting rate. Placement based on active teaching certification

HOURS:
