Note:

Job Duties:
Provide academic support to students through one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions focused on specific subject areas. Facilitate learning activities or review sessions on assigned topics when needed. Promote effective study habits and encourage positive, collaborative learning approaches among students. Develop, organize, and utilize learning materials and resources to support student understanding. Help maintain a supportive, respectful, and engaging learning environment for students. Travel to agreed tutoring locations, which may include students' homes or designated public meeting areas, to conduct sessions. Participate in regular check-ins or coordination meetings with the assigned supervisor. Commitment of approximately 2 hours per week.
Schedule:
Mon And Thurs 4:30-5:30 pm and is open until 6 pm any other day as well
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Mathematics, or a closely related field preferred. Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or academic support is highly valued. Patient, professional, and able to connect with students who have varying learning styles and needs. Demonstrated ability to tailor lesson strategies to support individual student growth and success. Strong commitment to punctuality, consistency, and maintaining an agreed tutoring schedule. Must have access to reliable personal transportation for travel to sessions, when applicable. Candidates should currently reside in or near the area where tutoring sessions will take place. Experience working with children or school-age students is an advantage, though not required. Valid or current Teaching Certification is required.
Compensation:
Hourly rate ranges from $27.00 to $33.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
