Flexible schedule, supportive environment, and competitive hourly pay. Perfect for teachers, college grads, or experienced tutors. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to K-12 students in Math and/or ELA Assess students' current skill levels and identify learning gaps Develop and follow personalized lesson plans based on student needs Help students with homework, test preparation (including iLearn), and skill building Track student progress and provide feedback to parents and the tutoring coordinator Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities Maintain a positive, patient, and encouraging learning environment Communicate regularly regarding scheduling, student updates, and progress Arrive on time and maintain professionalism in all sessions (in-person) Requirements Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree (Education, Math, English, or related field preferred) Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred (not required for strong candidates) Strong understanding of K-12 Math and/or ELA concepts Ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently Reliable, punctual, and professional Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles Comfortable working with students of varying academic levels Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Comfortable with in-person and/or online tutoring Access to reliable transportation
