Lead Instructor - KP Tutor Kinetic Potential - 1.0 Bridgeport, CT Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $35 - $40 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Professional development assistance Qualifications Teaching Certification Master's degree Bachelor's degree Working with students University teaching experience Lesson planning Higher education teaching Teaching Full Job Description Lead Instructors - KP Tutors support various modes of delivery, stadistance learning, onsite and hybrid courses. Our career and educational services span academic, social and professional development programming. A typical course is 1-2 hours in duration, is delivered 2-3 times / week and may occur during school hours or out of school time. KP Tutors are expected to contribute to the ever-growing Kinetic Potential Learning Curriculum.
Responsibilities:
Deliver academic, social and/or professional development content across a variety of subject areas--all areas welcomed. Deliver online/offline academic remediation to a group of K-12 students (3-8 students) in math, ELA/Reading or Science that is consistent with their individual learning plans. Develop lessons that comply with established standards (e.g., CCSS) and are consistent with KP Learning Curriculum expectations. Manage the administration of all learning activities and maintain accurate student records in in our proprietary ATMS platform.
Requirements:
2-5 years of teaching experience; preferably in Title I schools; online experience a plus Passion for student success and an unwavering commitment to improving student performance on the standard state assessments. Bachelor's Degree (Master and/or doctoral degree a plus). State teaching license that is current and active (proof of licensure required) Ability to inspire youth to Want More. Do More. Be More.
