Tuesdays & Thursdays Afternoon availability preferred between 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM About the
Opportunity:
Splendid Tutoring is seeking a caring, dependable, and engaging in-person tutor to work with two motivated students throughout the summer.
Students are:
Incoming 7th Grade Student Incoming 5th Grade Student The ideal tutor will provide individualized academic support while also helping the students strengthen organization, study habits, confidence, and executive functioning skills.
Subjects & Areas of Focus:
Reading Comprehension Writing Skills Math Support Executive Functioning Skills (organization, time management, focus, planning, study strategies, accountability)
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior tutoring or teaching experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patient, encouraging, and professional personality Ability to adapt lessons to each student's learning style Reliable transportation for in-person sessions
