Reading/Math Tutor

•This position requires a year long commitment. Thriving Minds Learning Center is a tutoring center offering in person individualized instruction in reading, writing, and math to students in grades 1-8 with learning challenges including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and other learning differences. We are seeking part-time instructors who can work a full school year to tutor in the subjects of reading, writing, and math at our office in Campbell, California, in addition to offering online tutoring. This is a position with the potential to grow up to 15-25 hours per week.

1:30 to 7:30pm Saturdays 9:00 to 3:00pm Summer Hours May Include (mid June•mid-August): Monday•

9:00am to 7:30pm Saturdays 9:00 to 3:00pm Experience teaching the following subjects is preferred: Reading Writing Elementary and Middle school level math High school level English and math experience is a plus Experience teaching reading with Orton-Gillingham programs is a plus Responsibilities Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in reading and math for students, focusing on individual learning needs. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum tailored to students' skill levels. Foster a supportive and positive learning environment, managing student session dynamics effectively.
