SAT / ACT Verbal Tutor

Job Description:

This position is for SAT and ACT Verbal tutors (you need only specialize in the verbal sections). Sessions will take place in students' homes, which are located mainly in Manhattan, and remotely over Zoom. The position requires availability on weekday afternoons and evenings , and a strong preference is given to those candidates who are also available on Sunday throughout the day. All tutors must be able to commit to working with students through the end of June 2027.

Strong academic background required Patient, enthusiastic, and nurturing personality 10 hours minimum availability per week Commitment through the end of June 2027 Minimum of a bachelor's degree (please, no current college students) Areas of Specialization (Please indicate area in application email) SAT Reading and Writing/Language Sections ACT English and Reading Sections Mandatory In-Person Training Dates (compensated at $17.00/hr): July 13 and 14 (10am-5pm), lunch is included
