Job Description
```Duties```
- Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students of various ages and academic levels
- Assess students' learning needs and develop personalized lesson plans
- Help students improve their understanding of specific subjects or skills
- Assist with homework assignments and test preparation
- Use a variety of teaching methods and learning resources to engage students
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to address individual student needs
- Stay up-to-date with educational trends and learning technologies ```Qualifications```
- Mississippi Teaching Certification Required
- Bachelor's degree in Education, or related field (preferred)
- Previous experience working with students or children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners
- Proficiency in learning technologies and online tutoring platforms
- Classroom management skills and ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed Please note that the above qualifications are preferred but not required for all tutoring positions.
