Job Description
Duties:
- Provide one-on-one and/or small group tutoring sessions to students in upper math courses, specifically Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry Pre-Cal, Calculus, SAT prep. Physics & Chemistry knowledge a plus!
- Assist students in grades 6 grade
- early college with homework assignments and teach them how to use notes to complete assignments.
- Guide students through organization and study skills strategies.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to director.
- Incorporate interactive and engaging activities to enhance student learning.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special education needs or learning differences.
Required Qualifications:
background check Expertise in noted subject area Experience working with children ages 11-20Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, content area, and/or a related field
- Experience working with children in a tutoring or classroom setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students of all ages.
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies is a plus.

Part-time Pay:
$20.00- $25.
