ACT/SAT Tutor

Professional Tutor - Starting pay is $49/hour Job Summary We are seeking SAT and ACT tutors who love to work with students on a one-to-one basis to prepare them for standardized exams and academic classes. ALL SECTIONS

of the ACT exam (English, Math, Reading Science) and/or SAT (Reading, Writing & Language, and Math). Instructors will have full use of an extensive set of materials. Hours are flexible, but most tutoring takes place on evenings and weekends. Tutors will be working from our Galleria Area office. Benefits, including health insurance, are provided for full-time tutors. Qualifications Ability to tutor ALL sections of the ACT exam, and/or SAT exam Prior experience teaching or tutoring ACT, SAT, ISEE, or comparable standardized tests (required) College Degree Required Reliable transportation - we have one central location in the Galleria area Patience and enthusiasm are critical qualities Availability on evenings and weekends To be considered for this position, include resume, cover letter and complete the skills tests. About Us We are an academic tutoring and test preparation group that has been in the Houston area since 1994. Our faculty consists primarily of honors graduates of leading colleges and universities, many of whom hold graduate or professional degrees. We currently offer private tutoring that is custom-designed to meet the needs and schedules of the individual student. We offer preparation for the ISEE, HSPT, SSAT, SAT, PSAT, ACT, LSAT, GRE, GMAT, MCAT, other more specialized tests, and academic subjects.
