2-3 days per week | Sunday-Thursday | After-school & evening hours Must-Have Qualifications (Please read before applying) To be considered, you must have: French major or minor (or equivalent advanced coursework) Formal teaching or tutoring experience in French Strong mastery of French grammar and syntax Availability through at least June 4, 2026 Reliable transportation for in-person tutoring in Houston Applicants who can continue through Summer 2026 and the 2026-2027 academic year will be given priority. About the Role Kscholastic is seeking knowledgeable, motivated French Tutors to join our academic team. Our tutors work one-on-one with students to strengthen foundational language skills, improve academic performance, and build confidence in French. We employ college students, graduate students, PhD candidates, certified teachers, and experienced educators who are passionate about teaching and learning. This is an in-person position serving students throughout the Houston area. Responsibilities Tutor students in French (all levels) Teach core grammar and language concepts, including: verb conjugations and tense usage, sentence structure and syntax, reading comprehension, and vocabulary development Build personalized lesson plans based on student needs Improve student confidence, grades, and long-term academic performance Communicate progress with Kscholastic staff and families

Required Skills & Experience Required:

French major or minor Prior experience teaching or tutoring French Strong formal understanding of French grammar Excellent communication skills Reliable transportation and punctuality

Preferred:

Classroom teaching experience Long-term availability (summer + next school year)
