This Lead Instructor role is ideal for experienced instructors, teachers, or educators who are ready to step into a leadership position while continuing to work directly with students. The Lead Instructor position plays a key role in maintaining instructional quality, coaching instructors and teachers, and ensuring a consistent, positive experience for students and families. Quick Role Summary As a Lead Instructor , you will manage the classroom during instructional hours, coach and train instructors and teachers, and ensure students receive effective, engaging math instruction using the Mathnasium Method. You will act as Manager on Duty and support the Center Director in driving a high-quality center experience. This role blends instructional leadership, classroom management, and customer experience. What We Offer $18.50 hourly rate Part-time leadership role (typically 20-25 hours per week) Opportunities for Growth and Leadership Development across multiple centers Paid training on the Mathnasium Method Supportive leadership team and ongoing professional development What You Will Do Lead the classroom environment as a Lead Instructor Manage instructional flow and student-to-instructor ratios Coach, train, and support instructors and teachers Ensure consistent implementation of the Mathnasium Method Deliver effective math instruction when needed Serve as Manager on Duty , including opening and closing the center Conduct center tours and support consultative enrollment conversations Schedule assessments and assist with student enrollment Review student progress and communicate with the Center Director Provide feedback on instructor performance and development Participate in local marketing and community outreach initiatives Help create a fun, positive, and productive learning environment Core Responsibilities Instructional Leadership & Classroom Management Instructor Coaching & Staff Development Student Progress Monitoring Customer Experience & Enrollment Support Center Operations & Team Collaboration Requirements Essential Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of math concepts through 12th grade Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to connect with students, parents, instructors, and teachers Demonstrated leadership ability and strong judgment in fast-paced environments Ability to coach, train, and engage instructional staff Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Collaborative leadership mindset with ability to delegate responsibilities Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace High School diploma or G.E.D. required; some college preferred Schedule & Availability This is a part-time Lead Instructor role.

Typical schedule includes:

Monday-Thursday:

afternoons and evenings (approximately 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

Saturday:

approximately 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Lead Instructors typically work 20-25 hours per week , depending on center needs.
