Lead Instructor - Mathnasium (Aledo) We are hiring a Lead Instructor in Aledo to support instructional excellence and provide leadership within our Mathnasium Learning Center. This role is ideal for experienced instructors, tutors, or aspiring educators who are ready to step into a leadership position while continuing to work directly with students. The Lead Instructor plays a critical role in maintaining instructional quality, coaching instructors, and ensuring a consistent, engaging experience for students and families. Quick Role Summary As a Lead Instructor , you will lead the classroom during instructional hours, support and develop instructors, and ensure students receive effective and engaging math instruction using the Mathnasium Method. You will serve as Manager on Duty and act as a key partner to the Center Director in delivering a high-quality center experience. This role blends instructional leadership, classroom management, and customer experience. What We Offer $18.50 hourly rate Part-time leadership role (typically 20-25 hours per week) Opportunities for Growth and Leadership Development across multiple centers Paid training on the Mathnasium Method Supportive leadership team and ongoing professional development What You Will Do Lead the classroom environment and ensure a smooth instructional flow Manage student-to-instructor ratios and adjust in real time as needed Coach, train, and support instructors to ensure high-quality instruction Ensure consistent implementation of the Mathnasium Method Deliver instruction and support students when needed Serve as Manager on Duty , including opening and closing the center Conduct center tours and support consultative enrollment conversations Schedule assessments and assist in converting prospects to enrollments Monitor student progress and communicate updates with the Center Director Provide feedback on instructor performance and development Participate in local marketing events and community outreach Foster a positive, energetic, and student-focused learning environment Core Responsibilities Instructional Leadership & Classroom Management Instructor Coaching & Staff Development Student Progress Monitoring Customer Experience & Enrollment Support Center Operations & Team Collaboration Requirements Essential Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of math concepts through 12th grade Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to connect with students, parents, and team members Demonstrated leadership ability and sound judgment in fast-paced environments Ability to coach, train, and motivate a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Collaborative leadership mindset with ability to delegate responsibilities Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace High School diploma or G.E.D. required; some college preferred Schedule & Availability This is a part-time Lead Instructor role.

Typical schedule includes:

Monday-Thursday:

afternoons and evenings (approximately 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

Saturday:
