Position Information Position Title Computer Science Tutor (Ogden Learning Center) Requisition Number H01579P Position Category Hourly/Work Study Campus Location Weber State University - Ogden, UT Hours per week 7-20 Months per year Alternate work schedule Pay Grade Salary Hourly Pay Rate $14.50 FLSA Job Summary/Basic Function Tutor WSU students in Computer Science at the Ogden Learning Center as part of the Learning Support department. Tutoring is done on a drop-in basis. Availability for drop-in shifts is determined by the tutor. We require and provide training in tutoring techniques. •This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified. Required Qualifications Must be a WSU student. Must have earned a B or better in the courses you propose to tutor. A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring. Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA Preferred Qualifications Ability to tutor many different courses. Background Check?
