Student - Private Tutor

Must be skilled and knowledgeable in upper-division Math, Science, English, or Business courses. Will work one-on-one with K-16 students, providing academic tutoring and encouragement. Must have a desire to help students be successful in their various academic subjects. Will tutor, track, and report progress, and fulfill other duties assigned. Other duties as assigned Must be a current UVU Student Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of experience tutoring or studying the subject. Advanced knowledge in math, science, business, or English. Advanced knowledge in other areas, such as languages, social sciences, etc., will be considered. Effective verbal and written communication. Skills in maintaining accurate records for official files. Ability to relate to different academic levels of students. Ability to follow through with assignments, schedules, and appointments. Ability to demonstrate professionalism. Ability to work independently with dependability.
