Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to provide one-on-one support to K-8 students in literacy and mathematics. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and achieve academic growth through individualized instruction. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one instruction in literacy and math for K-8 students Assess individual student needs and tailor lessons to support skill development Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Build strong, supportive relationships that foster student confidence and engagement Communicate effectively with families and team members Integrate technology tools to enhance learning Qualifications Born Again Christian walking faithfully with God, has a personal testimony, and lives a consecrated life devoted to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior Regularly Attends a Christian Church Experience teaching or tutoring K-8 students in literacy and math Training in Orton-Gillingham and/or Wilson Language approaches, preferred Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of age-appropriate instructional strategies Ability to create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment Proficiency with technology tools (word processing, Google apps, videoconferencing, etc.)
