Duties Record real-time game statistics including points, assists, rebounds, steals, blocks, and fouls with precision and speed Track player substitutions and rotations to ensure accurate game flow documentation Communicate effectively with referees, coaches, and fellow staff to clarify rules or resolve on-court issues Maintain organized records of game data for post-game analysis and reporting Assist in setting up equipment and ensuring all necessary tools are ready before each game Manage conflicts or disagreements on the court professionally and calmly to uphold fair play Support the overall organization of game day activities by coordinating with team staff and volunteers Skills Strong knowledge of basketball rules, gameplay, and strategies Experience in sports coaching or playing basketball is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to relay information clearly under pressure Ability to manage conflicts diplomatically while maintaining a positive environment Comfortable working with children and youth athletes in a team setting Attention to detail to ensure accurate recording of game statistics and events Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends This paid position offers a rewarding chance to stay active in the sport you love while honing your organizational and interpersonal skills.
