Job Summary Join our vibrant sports community as an adult Beach Volleyball Referee, where your energetic spirit and keen eye for detail will ensure fair play and an exciting experience for players and spectators alike. In this paid role, you will oversee matches, enforce rules, and promote a positive sporting environment. Your enthusiasm for sports and excellent communication skills will help create memorable moments on the sand courts, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun for all participants. Responsibilities Officially oversee beach volleyball matches, ensuring adherence to game rules and safety protocols Make quick, confident decisions on plays, faults, and rule violations to maintain fair competition Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and spectators to explain rulings and promote sportsmanship Manage conflict situations calmly and professionally, resolving disputes efficiently and fairly Monitor the playing area for safety hazards and enforce proper conduct among participants Record match scores, incidents, and relevant game details accurately for documentation purposes Support event organizers by assisting with player check-ins and providing guidance to participants Skills Strong knowledge of volleyball rules, especially beach volleyball regulations Experience in sports coaching or refereeing is highly desirable Excellent conflict management skills to handle disputes diplomatically under pressure Exceptional communication skills to clearly convey decisions and foster positive interactions Ability to work effectively with children and youth participants in a lively sporting environment Demonstrated enthusiasm for sports, teamwork, and promoting active lifestyles
Pay:
$26.00 per hour
