Job Description
Job Summary:
As a Seasonal Scoreboard Operator, you will play a vital role in supporting tournament operations at the Diamond Nation facility. Your responsibilities include assisting with the execution of youth baseball tournaments, announcing games, providing rule guidance, and delivering exceptional customer service to guests.Responsibilities:
- Assist staff in running youth baseball tournaments at a top-tier facility.
- Announce games and offer rule advice, ensuring excellent customer service at a designated field.
- Uphold a high level of professionalism while providing exceptional internal and external customer service.
- Embrace training and exhibit initiative to uphold the Ripken brand's values, working with the team to achieve goals efficiently and create a memorable experience for participants.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Friendly, outgoing demeanor with strong communication skills, initiative, and high energy.
- Reliable transportation.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time-management skills.
- Flexible availability including nights and weekends as business demands.
- Passion for sports.
Preferred:
- Background in Baseball or Softball (playing, coaching, or working).
Special Physical Requirements:
- Regular lifting of heavy items weighing 20 pounds or more.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, including extreme heat or cold.
