Umpire Adult Softball

Adult Coed Softball League Umpire•Monday Nights The Adult Coed Softball League Umpire is responsible for officiating league games in a fair, consistent, and professional manner while promoting sportsmanship and participant safety. This position ensures games are conducted according to league and softball rules and helps create a positive recreational experience for all participants. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Officiate adult coed softball league games according to league rules Enforce game rules, policies, and sportsmanship standards consistently and impartially Manage game flow, maintain control of contests, and make accurate judgment calls Address conflicts and unsportsmanlike behavior appropriately Keep game times on schedule Report incidents, injuries, ejections, or rule disputes to league staff Ensure participant safety during games and weather-related situations Qualifications Knowledge of softball rules and officiating mechanics preferred Previous umpiring or playing experience preferred Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, jog, and move throughout games for extended periods Vision and mobility sufficient to make accurate calls during play Schedule Monday nights: June 1•end of August Pay Pay starts at $25.00 per game•can be negotiated due to experience
