JOB DUTIES
KEVA is currently looking for Summer Volleyball referees, (with opportunities to continue into the next seasons) for our adult and youth leagues. Games are played on Sunday•Friday, between 5:30•10:00 pm. A typical night would include 3-5 games. There are a variety of levels of play; ranging from recreational to high intermediate. Referees must have previous volleyball experience and knowledge (playing, coaching, or referee), and must be available for at least one night of play for the listed days above. Referees can work one or multiple nights a week. Referees choose what nights and games they are available for and must be reliable once they have committed. Candidates must be professional and respectful with the teams, as well as possess a superior understanding of the sport. Referees must provide their own uniform (must be professional and indicate your sports official status) and whistle. Subject to a background check.
Available games:
Up to 20 games per week (typically 3-5 available each night), can be flexible
SCHEDULE
A typical night would include 3-5 games, various days per week. Games are scheduled Sundays•Fridays from 5:30•10:00 pm.
PAY:
$19.20
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior volleyball experience required•i.e. Coaching, playing, or refereeing. We will not train. Reliable Outgoing and friendly personality.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Able to climb a referee stand and able to stand for 3-4 hours at a time.
