Early Education Infant Teacher (Full time/Part time)

Early Advantage Academic Preschool is a high quality preschool and childcare center located in Cave Springs, AR. We value creativity, collaboration, and communication among our staff and the families we serve. We are seeking dedicated and passionate Infant/Toddler Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and possess a strong background in childhood development. We are looking for lead Infant, Toddler, and Preschool age lead teacher candidates. Job Summary Implement a set curriculum aligned with the Arkansas Education Frameworks that includes literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Provide infant care, including feeding, changing diapers, documenting sleep and play times, and monitoring health indicators. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's social and academic progress and health concerns. Assess student progress toward developmental milestones and academic goals Facilitate the use of learning centers, discovery learning, direct instruction, and social-emotional learning Maintain the classroom environment, including seasonally and academically appropriate decor that aligns with our thematic academic initiatives. Facilitate drop-off, pick-up, and playground time. This will involve being outdoors during inclement weather. Can lift at least 50 lbs., sit on the floor with children, get up quickly if needed, stand for extended periods, and deal with other physical demands of a child-care environment. Assist in cleaning, delivering food, facilitating meals, and providing any other aspects of care your students or classroom environment may require. Be able and willing to work in any classroom with students of any age, depending on the center's needs. Other duties as assigned.
