Fresh Start has served thousands of women aged 18 and older, supporting them as they transform their lives and, in turn, transform the lives of their children, families, and the broader community.Position Overview:
We are seeking an engaging and dynamic Education Instructor to facilitate workforce training programs for women pursuing careers in Banking & Finance, Trades, and Advanced Manufacturing, among other areas. This role is responsible for delivering an established curriculum, fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, and equipping participants with the foundational professional and job readiness skills needed to launch sustainable career pathways. The ideal candidate is experienced in adult learning, confident in classroom facilitation, and passionate about empowering women through education and workforce development. This role requires subject matter expertise or a willingness to build subject matter knowledge, strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to keep participants motivated, accountable, and on track for program completion.Key Responsibilities:
Program Facilitation & Instruction Deliver workforce training curriculum across designated programs, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and outcomes. Create a supportive, engaging classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning. Facilitate discussions, activities, and assignments that reinforce key concepts and real-world applications. Provide individualized feedback and academic support to help participants succeed. Hold regular office hours and provide additional assistance to students as needed. Administer assessments in accordance with program requirements. Student Engagement & Support Build strong relationships with participants to encourage retention, accountability, and program completion. Monitor student progress and provide coaching and resources to address challenges or barriers to success. Support participants in completing third-party technical training (e.g., OSHA-10) by maintaining accountability and engagement. Foster a trauma-informed, inclusive learning environment that supports participants facing diverse life circumstances. Program Coordination & Collaboration Collaborate with internal teams to support and facilitate workshops on career readiness, financial literacy, and professional skills. Coordinate with guest speakers and support employer engagement activities such as site visits, panels, and mock interviews. Track attendance, participation, and outcomes, maintaining accurate program data and documentation. Communicate regularly with program staff regarding student progress and any concerns.Required Qualifications:
Minimum2+ years of experience in teaching, training, or facilitation(preferably in adult education or workforce development). Strong classroom management and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse learners. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, virtual learning platforms, and the ability to support students in navigating online training systems and basic technical tools. Ability to simplify complex topics and present them in an accessible, engaging way.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Education, Workforce Development, or related field) or4 years of adult education facilitation Experience or familiarity with any of the following industries: Banking & Finance, Trades, Construction, or Advanced Manufacturing industries. Experience supporting individuals with barriers to employment. Experience with trauma-informed teaching practices. Bilingual (Spanish).Attributes:

Ability to facilitate in-person training sessions over 3-8 week program cycles. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or adjusted hours based on program schedules. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, including instruction, student support, and administrative tasks.Notice:
