MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
This position requires a high school diploma or recognized equivalent and Title I compliance through a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction OR AA Degree (or higher) OR 48 semester units of college coursework and one year of experience planning and supervising behaviorally challenging middle and high school marginalized students preferably in an educational setting. Experience in student crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques preferred.
Licenses and Certificates:
  • Must be fluent in Spanish.
  • Requires a valid California driver's license. If using personal vehicle in the course of employment, must have proof of liability insurance required by law.
  • DMV Driver Record printout.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

SELECTION PROCESS
