We are looking for people who will share our passion for the outdoors, positive encouragement and making a difference in the lives of students. We are hiring enthusiastic individuals for 4.5 weeks (20 teaching days) of camp, June 11- July 10 in San Luis area.. We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds who love fostering learning and fun, and have solid experience working with Outdoor Education and environmental programming. We offer competitive pay for the right instructors and are looking for instructors who ideally have middle school experience. The program invites middle school students to interact in an outdoor setting and become stewards of their environment with engaging activities that focus on mindfulness practices while building environmental awareness, outdoor skills and leadership development. We will provide training, daily curriculum, games and materials for each class. Students are in a class ratio of 1:20.

What you will be doing:

Lead the class for students that incorporates mindfulness with environmental stewardship.

What we are looking for:

Experience working with groups of kids, especially middle school age Teachers and Educators with effective group management skills Energetic, kind, and patient personality Punctual and reliable, with access to a reliable form of transportation What your schedule will look like: Monday through Friday 8:30-2:15, teaching 3 groups for 90 minutes each.
