BASIC DUTIES
Conduct weekly financial education lessons through face-to-face and web-based (Zoom) classrooms. Be able to comprehend and effectively implement financial learning curriculums in an educational environment. Provide weekly one-on-one financial coaching and personal support to clients. Encourage clients to set financial goals and create a plan of action to reach those goals.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
DIRECT DUTIES Conduct weekly financial literacy classes, in-person and online through Zoom Facilitate tests and quizzes to assess information retention measure knowledge outcomes Use financial assessment tools to help clients better understand their individual needs Provide weekly one-on-one goal-based financial coaching Assist clients with developing and maintaining healthy financial habits Offer direct personal support to keep client motivated to reach their financial goals Positively promote the agency in the community Prepare and submit reports as needed Other duties as assigned

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify the needs of the youth
  • Must be able and willing to provide emergency hot-line counseling and suicide prevention support
  • Supervise clients/volunteers in a positive, caring manner to make sure staff work together as a cohesive group
  • Organizing one-on-one and group counseling sessions
  • Mentoring children and teenagers under licensing guidelines (Title 22)
  • Serving as a role model and mentor to youth clientele in a professional manner
  • Ensure policies are followed to protect clients' safety at all times.
  • Visiting clients at school or residential homes
  • Providing assessment and crisis intervention
  • Provide emergency hot-line counseling and suicide prevention support
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding client and staff files and locations.
  • Answer incoming calls, make outgoing calls, notate messages, and follow up on referrals.
  • Assist with establishing contact with parents or guardians of youth.
  • Act as a liaison between youth, their families, and various social services, ensuring that young individuals receive the comprehensive support they need.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee must be able to sit and stand for long periods, Handle, grasp, and feel objects and equipment, lift to 50 pounds, reach with hands and arms, extend both arms above the head and/or go below the waist, bend or squat, walk and climb stairs and ladders, hear in a moderately noisy environment, and use a phone or headset for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Work Conditions:
Most of the duties for this position are performed indoors, although travel between work sites may be required. The incumbent may be exposed to some noise (electrical, mechanical, or human) on an occasional basis, as well as other related hazards associated with an office environment.

  • Must attend orientation and complete required training
  • Demonstrate and incorporate techniques taught during training.
  • Willing to travel between offices, units, and business during work.
  • Willing to work a fluctuating shift, including nights and weekends.
  • Must implement and practice de-escalation techniques.
  • Being able to work as an effective team player is essential.

Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager to join our Next Step Program. In this role, you will support individuals-particularly those transitioning from incarceration by providing comprehensive case management, advocacy, and life-skills support. The ideal candidate is organized, empathetic, and experienced in working with high-risk populations. You will play a key role in helping clients achieve stability through goal setting, resource coordination, and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities Conduct weekly meetings with clients to establish and monitor individualized goals Provide comprehensive case management services Assist clients with budgeting and financial planning Support clients with job search, resume development, and obtaining personal documents Advocate for clients and help navigate social service systems Coordinate rental and utility assistance services Conduct client assessments and develop individualized care plans Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and emotional support Collaborate with team members and external service providers Travel between offices, program sites, and client locations as needed Additional Duties Maintain accurate case notes and service documentation Input client data into CAP360 and other systems Monitor client progress and complete follow-ups and evaluations Conduct safety inspections and facilitate fire drills Attend community meetings to identify resources Coordinate household needs and repairs as necessary Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of case management experience Bachelor's degree in social services, mental health, or a related field preferred
Experience:
Experience working with high-risk or justice-involved populations Knowledge of social work practices and community resources Experience with crisis intervention and service coordination Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to build rapport and motivate clients
