Culinary Instructor Creativities Studio - 2.0 Greenwich, CT Job Details Part-time $50 - $55 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Referral program Qualifications Culinary experience Ingredient handling Cooking Baking Teaching meal preparation skills Teaching arts Elementary school teaching Working with elementary school students Student-centered approaches (student motivation techniques) Leadership Teaching Full Job Description We're seeking a culinary instructor for Mondays 1-3 PM for the month of July - 7/6, 7/13, 7/20, and 7/27.
Responsibilities:
Instruct children ages 5-10 in engaging culinary arts classes on Mondays. Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students. Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals. Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement. Provide a fun and creative environment.
Requirements:
Must be able to commit to a weekly class for July, with potential to continue in the fall. Must be comfortable instructing children in learning a simple recipe. While curriculum planning is not necessary, we require that the lead instructor purchase the ingredients for the recipe before class and bring them to class. Expense reimbursement will be provided for the ingredients.
Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience required. Interest / experience in culinary arts or passion for cooking & baking. Excellent communication skills. Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable. Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
