Open to the Public Special Instructions to Applicants The Department of Teacher Education is accepting applications for potential Instructor openings for courses in Reading Education for the academic year 2026-2027. The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing. If a need arises, the department will select candidates from this pool posting. Application to this pool will be utilized to fill part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor positions on the Athens campus as student demand dictates for fall and spring semesters. Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses on campus and/or online. Contribute to the instructional mission of the Teacher Education Department and Patton College of Education.
