Posting Detail Information Salary Information $1,101 per Equivalent Credit Hour ( ECH ). Job Summary Adjunct Early Childhood Education Instructor for Fall Semester 2026 to teach in-person at an off-site location in the Ankeny area. Essential Functions Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Early Childhood Education OR any masters degree in any field plus 12 GSH in Early Childhood Development. 3-years related work experience with children ages birth - 8yrs. Ability to meet state licensing requirements, including: DCI check, Child Abuse Registry check, and medical exam. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds. Ability to function effectively in a team environment. Desired Qualifications Early Childhood Education teaching experience. Work Schedule Fall Semester 2026, daytime hours.
