What You'll Do Teach engaging driver education classes for teen students Provide one-on-one behind-the-wheel instruction Guide students through real-world driving situations with patience and encouragement Create a positive, supportive learning environment Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and confidence Follow Top Driver's curriculum, instructional standards, and safety protocols Serve as a trusted mentor and role model for young drivers What We're Looking For We're seeking energetic, reliable individuals who: Enjoy teaching, coaching, or mentoring others Communicate clearly and confidently Are passionate about safety and education Thrive working with teenagers Have a positive attitude and professional demeanor No prior driver education experience? No problem. We provide the training you need to succeed. Flexible Scheduling We understand work-life balance matters. Flexible schedules based on instructor availability After-school, evening, and weekend opportunities during the school year Sunday availability is highly valued (our busiest day) Additional daytime hours may be available during summer and school breaks Position Options Part-Time 10+ hours per week Full-Time 30+ hours per week Full-Time Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Health Insurance Dental Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Training Provided Top Driver offers a comprehensive instructor training program and proprietary curriculum to prepare you for success. You'll receive the support, tools, and guidance needed before working independently with students. Candidates who already hold an Illinois State Board of Education Substitute Teaching Certificate —or are willing to obtain one—may qualify for an abbreviated training process. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license with a safe driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for helping teens learn, grow, and succeed Location Arlington Heights, Illinois (near Hersey High School) Ready to Make an Impact?
