Champaign County RPC is a people-focused agency made up of over 100 programs designed to generate possibilities for all within our community. From analysis to policy guidance to offering services to our communities, RPC's people plan for people. Head Start Teacher is responsible for managing the classroom, carrying out a developmentally appropriate educational program to meet the individual needs of each child, and promoting good communication between the Head Start program, parents, and the community. Ability to fulfill all DCFS requirements, including a physical and criminal background check. Must have a AA or BS in Early Childhood Education. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Ability to practice inclusivity and civility at all times. Applicants must have a passion for children and families and the ability to support their success for self-sufficiency.
