POSITION SUMMARY

The University of Saint Mary is seeking an adjunct faculty member in education. This position is a pool position meaning that openings may or may not be currently available. Your application for this position will be kept current for a period of two years.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Teach classes as assigned from the regular education program curriculum. Prepare syllabi and deliver curriculum appropriate for the course assigned. Appropriately respond to student needs and feedback. Assess the course learning outcomes. Foster an inclusive educational environment to serve all learners. Maintain student attendance records in accordance with university policy. Submit mid-term and final grades on time. Advise and/or mentor students through electronic communications and other appropriate methods. Complete all required training, including training on Engage LMS. Perform other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates should have a master's level degree or above in education, curriculum and development or educational leadership; holds or is eligible to hold teacher licensure at the PK-12 level; and a minimum five years teaching experience. Affinity with the Mission of the University of Saint Mary.
