As an Adjunct Faculty member in the Machining Technology program, you will play a vital role in delivering quality education that prepares students for successful careers in machining and manufacturing technology.

Job Summary:
The Adjunct Faculty in Machining Technology will provide part-time instructional support in the machining fields, including manual and CNC machining processes. This position involves teaching theory and hands-on techniques to help students develop the skills necessary to excel in the machining industry.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Delivering lectures and hands-on instruction in machining technology courses. Assisting in curriculum development and updating course materials according to industry standards. Evaluating student performance, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records. Ensuring the proper use and maintenance of machining tools and equipment during lab sessions. Collaborating with full-time faculty and industry partners to maintain course relevance. Adhering to college policies and contributing to a positive learning environment.
Requirements Education:
Associates Degree or higher from a nationally or regionally accredited institution, preferred.
Experience & Skills:
Industry experience in machining technology, including CNC and manual machining, typically 4+ years, preferred. Prior teaching or training experience in technical or adult education, preferred. Strong understanding of machining processes, safety practices, and machine tool operation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively. Proficiency with computers and common software applications used in education.
