QUALIFICATION

Must hold a valid Kentucky Teaching Certification in the area stated above. Have the ability to develop and implement the IEP for individual students. Willingness to work extensively with students presenting behavioral disorders/challenges. Must be willing and able to complete Safe Crisis Management Training. Must be willing to collaborate with regular classroom teachers. Have knowledge and ability to implement the new

Kentucky Academic Standards:

Reading/Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies. Must have knowledge of curriculum and best teaching strategies for improving student learning. Must be available to participate in PD training sessions in aligning curriculum both vertically/horizontally for all content areas. Must have knowledge/implementation of ARC meetings and Discipline Management Skills. Have the ability to develop a positive, professional relationship with students, teachers, administrators, and parents. Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities related to RCMS. Must successfully complete all required employment forms/applications. Render health services as necessary after appropriate training.
