Boston, MA Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing EEC Certified Teacher to join our Montessori school in Boston, MA. This role involves working with children ranging from 3 months to 12 years old in a supportive, child-centered learning environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, embraces the Montessori philosophy, and is committed to fostering independence, curiosity, and holistic development in every student.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment Implement Montessori-based lessons and activities tailored to a mixed-age group of students Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Observe, assess, and document student progress, communicating effectively with families and staff Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues Maintain classroom organization, materials, and cleanliness in alignment with licensing standards
Qualifications:
EEC Teacher Certification (required) Experience working with children ages 3 months to 12 years preferred Strong understanding of child development and Montessori principles (or willingness to learn) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
