Part-Time Enameling Teacher Part-time Position (Currently Hiring)

Description:

The Brookline Arts Center (BAC) is seeking a teacher for our Jewelry and Metals Program specializing in enameling techniques to teach adult classes. The teacher will be responsible for providing overall class goals and objectives, developing class content and curriculum and providing a nurturing environment for adult students. Availability is desired for either daytime, evening, or weekend classes, to be determined with BAC. Opportunities are also available for instruction of our vacation teen intensive classes during school breaks, and weekly teen afterschool classes.

Qualifications:

Excellent knowledge of enameling, jewelry and metals work. Proficiency with enameling techniques. Experience teaching and creating curriculum for jewelry classes. Excellentmunication andanizational skills. Knowledge of general safety rules and basic first aid. Professional and patient. Ability to work effectively in teams and individually. Knowledge of safe metal materials and care of studio space.
