Role Summary As an Early Education Child Development Lead Teacher, you will manage a classroom environment designed for the holistic growth of young children. You will lead the implementation of a high-quality, play-based curriculum that fosters social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Working as a professional leader within the center, you will mentor assistant staff, partner deeply with families, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and joyful "first school" experience for every child. Why You'll Succeed (Qualifications)Education & Experience:
• Associate's degree in Child Development or Early Education OR 120 College Credit Hours in a child-related course.Proven Track Record:
Experience working within a licensed child care facility is required.Certificates/Licenses:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Missouri Substitute Certification through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). The Heart forEarly Learning:

Design and implement daily lesson plans that encourage exploration, language development, and foundational literacy/math through play.Foster Environment:
Maintain a classroom that is physically safe, emotionally nurturing, and intellectually stimulating. Partner withFamilies:
Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and family engagement events.Mentor Support Staff:
Provide guidance and collaboration for classroom assistants and aides to ensure a cohesive team approach.Observe & Document:
