Ally Therapy Specialists is a premier provider of Early Intervention services dedicated to the growth and development of infants and toddlers (ages 0-3). We partner with families to help children overcome developmental delays in their most formative years. We are seeking a professional who shares our commitment to excellence, compassion, and achieving results.
The Role:
We have an immediate opening for a qualified Special Instructor (SI) . In this role, you will work autonomously to provide 1:1 developmental instruction to children in their natural environments (homes, daycares, or community settings). This is an ideal opportunity for an educator who values independence, flexibility, and the ability to manage their own schedule while making a profound difference in the lives of local families.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Intervention:
Plan and implement specialized instruction for children 0-3 years old based on their Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
Family Coaching:
Empower parents and caregivers with specific strategies they can use during daily routines to support their child's development.
Professional Documentation:
Maintain organized, accurate, and timely clinical notes and records.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate effectively with Service Coordinators and other therapy disciplines (OT, PT, SLP) to ensure comprehensive care.
Territory & Travel:
We are hiring immediately for coverage in the following counties: Jackson, MS Candidates must be willing to travel to client locations within these areas.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Licensure (Mandatory): You must hold a current Mississippi Educator License with a Special Education (212) or similar endorsement, including (222, 223, 206, 208, 209, 218).
Note:
Applications without this specific licensure cannot be processed.
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
Experience:
Previous experience working with children (birth to 5 years) is preferred.
Skills:
