Availability of contract hours and schedule (day, evening, instruction) dependent on need for future semesters. Examples of Duties Responsible for providing quality instruction in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration program area. Purpose of instruction is to equip students with the necessary occupation-specific and employability skills for success in the workplace. Position also responsible for maintaining required documents: class rosters, course syllabus, student grade book, student progress notes etc. Qualifications High School Diploma and Associate's Degree or Diploma in

HVACR. 3-5

years in HVACR field or prior teaching experience preferred. NC State Licenses in Heating and A/C or Refrigeration, and CFC Certification. R-410-A Certification Preferred. Must be able to work as part of a team and must value collaboration; possess good teaching and organization skills; able to communicate effectively both in verbal and written expression; and possess an educational philosophy that is compatible with the mission of the community college.
