JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

MCC's Continuing Education Division is seeking enthusiastic and experienced non-credit instructors to lead travel-based community education courses to provide personal enrichment opportunities to members of our community. This position focuses on designing courses that blend academic context with hands-on experiences. Instructors manage all aspects of course delivery, from curriculum development to executing local and occasional out-of-state trips, including educational tours of museums and regional destinations. Ideal candidates are educators motivated to bring learning to life beyond the classroom.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

Develop and implement engaging curriculum and lesson plans tailored to students' varying proficiency levels. Conduct interactive classroom sessions Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Organize and facilitate travel activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Proficiency in travel and trends therein Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse learners. Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs. This position will have random teaching opportunities throughout the year.
