Teachers Needed for Summer Education Program

Company Overview:

We are a church-based educational program in New Jersey serving primarily Korean-American children who are native or fluent English speakers. While we operate as a Summer Camp program , our classes are designed with small group sizes to create a focused, study-centered learning environment. In the morning , students participate in structured academic classes that emphasize English writing, grammar, listening, and speaking , along with Mathematics. Our goal is to strengthen students' language acquisition and communication skills while providing personalized academic support in a "study room•style setting. In the afternoon , we offer activity-based classes led by a Physical Education teacher, focusing on team-building, sports, and recreational activities . These sessions promote collaboration, confidence, and active engagement in a fun and supportive environment.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated Summer School teachers to join our team. This position is open to individuals who have a genuine passion for working with children and can effectively teach English and Mathematics in a structured, small-group setting. We are also seeking a Physical Education teacher to lead engaging afternoon activity classes.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver structured and engaging English and Mathematics lessons tailored to students' levels Focus on developing students' skills in writing, grammar, listening, and speaking Emphasize language acquisition and communication skills for young learners Assign and manage daily homework to reinforce learning Integrate interactive activities and light physical games into lessons to create an engaging and memorable learning experience Create a positive, supportive, and focused classroom environment Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback Collaborate with other teachers to align curriculum and instructional strategies (For PE Teacher) Lead team-building activities, sports, and recreational games that promote collaboration and confidence

Qualifications:

Native or fluent English speaker with clear and articulate communication skills Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, especially with children Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage and motivate students Passion for teaching and supporting student growth TEFL, TESOL, or other relevant teaching certification preferred We are hiring for the following positions: 1) Elementary Teachers (Grades 2-4)•1 Position 2) Upper Grade Teachers (Grades 5-8)•1
