Job Description

The Lake Shore Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for the following position: Technology Education Reports to:

The location will be determined once our in-house bidding is complete. Applicants must upload all required documents through SchoolSpring when applying, as the district does not accept paper copies via email, fax, or mail. Please note you must provide three reference letters. Combine all three into a single document prior to uploading. The successful candidate must possess valid New York State certification as a teacher of Technology Education and must be able to demonstrate a commitment to acquiring certifications to teach in technical programs. The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate teaching skills appropriate to the middle and high school levels. The teachers employed in these positions will direct instruction, prepare class materials, evaluate student progress, communicate with parents and other district employees, write and direct learning activities, and provide other supervision and instructional services normally associated with the position of teacher. The district expects that applicants for these positions will possess exceptional computer related skills including software used in Computer Aided Design and Drafting, material analysis, digital electronics, etc.
