The Head Teacher will work closely with the Academic Director and teaching staff to ensure instructional quality, support teachers, monitor student progress, and help maintain compliance with accreditation standards. This role is ideal for an experienced ESL instructor who is passionate about education, leadership, and professional development. Must have prior head teacher/director experience. We are open to part-time or full-time options. Responsibilities Provide instructional leadership and support to ESL teachers Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback Assist with teacher onboarding, training, and mentoring Support curriculum implementation and lesson planning Monitor student progress and help address academic concerns Assist with placement testing and student evaluations Ensure consistency and quality across all classes Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities Help maintain accreditation and compliance standards Substitute teach when necessary Collaborate with administration to improve academic programs and student satisfaction Qualifications Bachelor's degree (required) TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or related ESL certification (required) Minimum 2 years of ESL teaching experience Previous supervisory, mentoring, or lead teacher experience (required) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with students and staff from diverse cultural backgrounds Familiarity with adult education and international student programs
