Key Qualifications:

Valid New York State Visual Arts Initial Certificate required Experience teaching general education or art in K-12 schools is preferred Strong classroom management and communication abilities Ability to adapt lesson plans to accommodate a range of learning styles Dedication to fostering an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging visual arts curriculum to motivate and inspire students Use a variety of instructional techniques to promote artistic exploration and critical thinking Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to both students and parents Collaborate with other educators and staff to support each child's educational development Promote participation in art events, exhibits, and extracurricular activities as appropriate Maintain organized and safe classroom spaces for students and artwork Immerse yourself in an area known for its friendly community and artistic spirit, working schools in the Bath, Hornell, or Jasper-Troupsburg area.
