We are looking for an Instructor. Essential Job Duties (not all inclusive): Supervises assistants, interns, volunteers assigned, and others assisting in the instructional program. Provides instruction for assigned class of students with developmental disabilities. Instruction includes all major areas of development, based upon students Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and curriculum. Conducts assessments of each student's current status in relation to the curriculum and IEP goals and objectives. Develops systematic instructional procedures and methodologies for each student based on the IEP and individual learning characteristics of each student. Implements instructional activities and procedures to attain individualized goal and objectives. Designs activities to improve the performance of chronological age-appropriate and functional skills in as many school and non-school environments as possible. Documents ongoing individual progress on each student's IEP goals and objectives. Modifies, as necessary, teaching methods, materials techniques, classroom organization, and other learning environments, to facilitate learning and goal attainment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field Possess or be eligible for Intervention Specialist teaching license as required by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Valid State of Ohio driver's license
