Yesterday Job Description New London Local Schools is seeking a qualified Driver's Education Instructor to support the launch of a district-based driver education program. The successful candidate will provide both classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction while ensuring compliance with all Ohio Traffic Safety Office requirements. Qualifications Valid Ohio Driver's License with acceptable driving record Must hold current Ohio Traffic Safety Office (OTSO) Driver Training Instructor certification or demonstrate the ability to obtain certification prior to July 1, 2026 High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred Must pass all required background checks Preferred Qualifications Valid Ohio teaching license Prior experience working with high school students Previous driver education instruction experience Essential Functions Provide classroom instruction in driver education curriculum Deliver behind-the-wheel training to students Maintain accurate records of student progress and completion Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and safety standards Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Working Conditions Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and summer sessions Combination of classroom and in-vehicle instruction Equal Opportunity Statement New London Local Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
